BATHTUB PARTY DAY – December 5
Tue Dec 5th

Bathtub Party Day

We're encouraged to skip the traditional shower and linger in the tub instead. On December 5th, add some suds to the tub and pamper yourself.

A bathtub party sounds suspiciously like a packed affair, but it doesn't have to be one. Granted, if you have young children, it's a time saver to squabble two or three of them in the tub at once. Some of the best times raising children are getting them all suds up and playing with the water toys. While everyone has some good clean fun, it also saves water.

For the adults, the benefits of a quiet soak in the tub add up quickly.

  • During the cold and flu season, a steamy bath helps to clear our sinuses and increase our oxygen intake. It also increases our circulation
  • The warm water helps reduces inflammation, relieving achy joints and sore muscles. It also helps with stress reduction.
  • Cold hands and feet are best, or just a chilled body in general, as dropping temperatures outside means cold hands and feet. We're right up for a soak in a hot tub.
  • The steam from the bath is refreshing to our skin, but be sure to moisturize, too. To get the most benefit from your Bathtub Party, add bath oil to your bathwater.

Enjoy all the benefits of a Bathtub Party and celebrate with bubbles of all sorts!!
