World Youth Skills Day
Every year on July 15th, World Youth Skills Day encourages youth to learn those skills that will help them achieve personal happiness and fulfillment. The day also raises concerns about the lack of skills that discourage young people from working.
Youth around the world are increasingly worried that they are unlikely to find jobs. Youth are also concerned that youth are not able to obtain the right education or preparation for their future careers. NEET stands for youth not employed, education, or training. The number of youth not in work, education, or training is known as NEET. Nearly 267 million people were classified as NEET in recent years.. This number is also expected to rise to 273 million in the near future.
Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), to help combat these figures, the UN and other groups are focusing on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). This type of education prepares students to work as a technician. Employees are also able to study a specific craft or trade. TelevisionET takes place at a higher education level and can also work with an apprenticeship scheme.
Workers around the world have discovered some of the many short and long-term benefits that TVET has to offer.
The following are examples of these benefits: The following are examples of those that have been cited:
- Better chance of finding jobs. More likely to be employed
- Higher pay rates are associated with higher earning levels...
- Increased job satisfaction has led to a rise in job satisfaction
- Increased flexibility and mobility have been added to the increase of portability and mobility.
- Lifelong learning
TVET has a proven benefit of being a television broadcaster is the positive effect it has on a person's motivation, attitude, and self-confidence. TVET has also many health benefits.
