International Left Handers Day
On August 13th, International Left Handers Day honors all those people who have mastered using their left hand in a right-handed world. We take our hats off to you, left-handed!!

About 10% of the population are southpaws. Scientists don't know why a person develops left-handedness. However, if one parent is a lefty, a child will be left-handed, more likely. Parents of left-handed children were used to pressure them to use their right hands.. The predominant use of the left hand seemed to be harmful in the eyes of right-handers.. Parents were concerned that their families would shun their children if their children were thrown out of their neighborhoods. Although we accept left-handedness more often than days gone by, the number hasn't increased.
Famous lefties
Many lefties are trying to blend in because they will stand out soon enough. They are made to feel uncomfortable due to their unique characteristic. They bump elbows or seem to be a klutz. However, those who are not dominant adapt well in a world meant for the right-handed. However, those who are not dominant adapt well. For example, eight United States presidents were left-handed, including Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama. Uncommon individual
The unusual individual who throws, catches, writes, and uses a fork with their left hand is recognized on Left Handers Day. They live just a little differently, too. They are looking for a restaurant where their dominant elbow will be visible on the outside of the booth. When the southpaw appears on the roster as an opponent on the roster, right-handed athletes groan a bit. They aren't always sure how to cope due to a lack of experience. And yet, lefties debate righties all the time.

How to celebrate international left handers day.
Take a left-handed friend to lunch or out for coffee. If you're right-handed, try doing everything with your left hand. To demonstrate your left-handed awesomeness, left-handers in a series using #lefthandersday.
