National Saxophone Day

On November 6th, Adolphe Sax, the woodwind's inventor, was born on the birth of the woodwind's pioneer, Adolphe Sax. The saxophone is one of jazz music's most popular instruments.

Adolphe Sax invented many musical instruments, including the saxophone, on November 6, 1814. Saxophones were made in various sizes in the early 1840s by Saxophones. He was granted a 15-year patent for the instrument on June 28, 1846. The patent included 14 different interpretations of the basic design, divided into two groups of seven instruments each, ranging from soprano to contrabass.

Following Sax's patent expiration in 1866, several saxophonists and instrument manufacturers began their own updates to the original design and key work.
