World Urbanism Day
World Urbanism Day, November 8th, acknowledges and promotes the importance of planning and establishing livable communities. World Town Planning Day is also known as the day.

History of a world urbanism day has a rich tradition
In 1949, the University of Buenos Aires' late Professor Carlos Maria della Paolera established World Town Planning Day. He was both a civil engineer and a member of Argentina's national geography committee. In later years, the day became known as World Urbanism Day. Today more than 30 countries on four continents participate.
