National Red Mitten Day is a celebration of Canadian Olympic Pride on November 21st.
On National Red Mitten Day, Canadians are encouraged to wear their Red Mittens in favor of Canadian athletes. Every Canadian has a Red mitten symbolizing the pride, generosity, and excellence of each individual.
Every Canadian from the sweetest newborn to the most experienced family member, wear your mittens with pride and help each individual pursue their dreams.
How to celebrate #nationalredmittensday
Wear your red mittens or buy a pair. Every pair of $15 CDN mittens purchased at Hudson's Bay or on thebay.com will go to assist Canadian athletes. The Red Mittens' funding helps provide Canadian Olympians and next-generation athletes with elite coaching, equipment, sports medicine, nutrition, and other high-performance equipment that make up a world-class daily training environment.
The proceeds from each pair of Red Mittens' auction go to help Canadian athletes.. The Red Mittens alone have raised more than $32 million for the Canadian Olympic Foundation to date.

The national red mittens day is the first national red mittens day in history
National Red Mitten Day was established by Hudson's Bay in order to inspire Canadians to show their love for Canadian athletes and display their national pride by wearing the company's Red Mittens. They hope to help Canadian Athletes in pursuing their dreams on November 21st.
Hudson's Red Mittens have been the country's most iconic symbol of Canadian Olympic pride since its inception in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Any proceeds from the selling of a pair of Red Mittens to the support of Canadian athletes will be donated. To date, the Red Mittens alone have raised more than $30 million for the Canadian Olympic Foundation.
