National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day
Citizens take the lead in showing their support for National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day across the country on January 9th each year.
Officers of every rank and rank have chosen a career that puts their lives on the line for their families every day. They've answered a call to public service that is both urgent and often ignored.
Their positions include everything from local, state, and federal. Many people are thankless and take them away from their families for long hours. Rarely do they know what their days have in store for them. Often law enforcement are the only paid ambulance service a neighborhood has. More often, they work in collaboration with other local, state, and federal agencies to make communities safer.
We have the opportunity to thank them for their service on National Law Enforcement Day and give them a token of appreciation.
