National Student Nurse Day
On May 8th, National Student Nurse Day will be celebrated as part of National Nurse Week. The day honors student nurses who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine.
Student Nurses are at the forefront of innovation, learning the most effective life-saving strategies. At the same time, they are learning skills in medical science-based programs. Each year, the demand for nurses continues to rise. The nursing field needs more people dedicated to the field of medicine than ever before. Their decision to care, learn, and specialize in nursing will make a difference in the lives of millions of people and the families that love them each year.
A registered nurse (RN) will complete a bachelor's degree in nursing at four years of nursing school. Nurses have also grown into specialties that extend their careers into other areas of medicine.
These students and their accomplishments are commemorated on National Student Nurses Day in honor of their service..
