National Safe Day

National SAFE Day is June 4th, and it has the ability to prevent tragedy from repeating itself. One out of every three households in the United States has a pistol stored somewhere inside. The Brooklynn Mae Mohler Foundation is dedicated to reducing senseless child deaths by increasing gun ownership education and empowering parents to inquire about guns where their children visit.

How many close friends does a child have? How many close friends does a child have? One of every three households has a pistol.. Is it safe if one of those households has a pistol? What about family members? Is it possible for cousins or other relatives who may have unsecured weapons? Secure storage is vital to children's security, and it is the responsibility of the gun owner.

The life of one innocent child is not worth debating the odds of possibility. There are several ways to buy a weapon while still allowing for quick access. There is no reason to have quick access over children's safety.

Parents, whether gun owners or not, must take steps to educate children and ask the question when in homes where their children visit. "Are there any open firearms in the house?"
