National Ding-a-ling Day

On December 12th, National Ding-a-Ling Day, encouraging us to reconnect with people we once talked to regularly..

Ding-a-Lings calls the people they haven't heard from in a while on this day. It could be an old classmate, coworker, or a neighbor from years ago. Or, perhaps a call will go out to the child who used to mow the grass during the summer. How about the couple who carpooled for soccer? What was their name? What was their name? Many people are thrown out of our lives and would like to hear you's ding-a-ling of a call. Why can't you join the Ding-a-ling club and call someone this year?

How to celebrate #dingalingday.

Call someone you haven't heard from in a long time and use #DingALingDay to post on social media.

The national ding-a-ling day's history has a long tradition

Franky Hyle, a free ad in Chase's Calendar of Events with his PO Box Number in Melrose Park, Illinois, stating that for $1 you will join the National Ding-A-Ling club. Every year on December 12, the club, which has 871 original members, will call friends and relatives that they haven't heard from in a while. The idea for the club emerged during a discussion among friends about people being friendlier, which led to the definition of the word ding-a-ling.. "One who hears bells in his head" was the word they came up with after looking up the term.

Hyle founded the National Ding-A-Ling club following this evening's discussion.. The family's history grew, and millions of people will call those people dear to them on December 12th.
