National Prepareathon! Day
Athon, National PrepareAthon! On April 30th, the United States' Day on April 30th reminds us that crises do not happen suddenly. Being organized needs to happen now, not later.
We must make decisions with little or no warning of natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, or wildfires. Is there an emergency plan in place with your family in the event of an emergency situation?
PrepareAthon! PrepareAthon! In the case of a disaster, Day provides tools and information for businesses and families to help them plan their businesses, families, and schools.. It takes members of the community to help prevent a crisis from devolving into a tragedy, whether large or small. Although our emergency services support one arm of the response team, many others step forward. Some assist with a supply chain while others coordinate medical staff. A fruitful strategy requires collaboration. Our plans run more smoothly when everyone has a blueprint.
How to attend #nationalprepareathonday and #nationalprepareathonday
Participate at home, school, or on a larger scale. At home, you can develop an emergency plan for your family. Keep important and valuable papers in one, convenient location. Plan escape routes for family members and pets. Everyone's phones will have emergency numbers from the Pre-Program. Create contact lists for family members.. You will need spare, readily available cash for items such as medicine, clothing, or shelter, depending on the situation.
