National Random Acts Of Light Day

Oftentimes, it takes just one simple word or small token to help overcome darkness. National Random Acts of Light Day, June 13th, encourages us to bring the light of cancer by surprising someone with an act of kindness..

Unfortunately, getting the diagnosis of cancer is one of the worst times a person can have. Random Acts of Light, however, as part of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walks fundraising effort, brings attention to the importance of providing cures. The organization, more importantly, provides blood cancer patients with drugs.

Take a friend fishing or bring them their favorite cup of coffee. The light of the room is brought by a simple stroll, a walk, or a new bouquet of flowers. Bring a sparkle to someone you love by giving them a sparkle on their day.
