Henry David Thoreau (July 12, 1817 – May 6, 1862) lived his life as an author, naturalist, scholar, and historian. He was also known as a tax resister, abolitionist, growth critic, and surveyor. Walden, his book, is a retrospection of simple life in natural surroundings..
The observance encourages people to take a step back and consider how to simplify our lives in our fast-paced, ever-increasing lifestyles.. It's a great opportunity to declutter and eliminate the unnecessary burdens that weigh us down. We find balance after taking a few minutes to tune into nature.
How to simplify
Seek is a leisurely pace that does not include material accumulation. That's the most straightforward description of the day. Perhaps to a few passages from a book or a child's wisdom, a look to nature or companionship.. We all need food and rest and satisfaction from a job well done. These everyday items come together to satisfy our greatest needs. All that is left falls away.
However, living simply doesn't mean going without.. It means we can live with only what we need. Throughout the day, look around you and consider the excesses.. The next time something breaks, people are asking if it can be repaired rather than replacing it.
Besides, our lives are simpler, so our anxiety reduces. We no longer have the desire to buy more stuff. We have time to explore adventures and spend time with people we love.

Tips for simplifying life by reducing life's stress
- Identify what's important to you. This list will include items, targets, and activities. Although we don't all have the ultimate aim of reaching Mars, don't disregard the minor successes. Those don't necessarily refer to clutter. Those don't necessarily refer to chaos. They're stepping stones. However, if they aren't a part of the larger picture, consider slashing them
- We have to admit that we hold on to some items for sentimental reasons, which is unfortunate. On the other hand, we buy too much junk for all the wrong reasons. Identify the ones that are most important and get rid of the rest
- Put a ban on impulse buying in place. Make a list before going to the store to avoid any shopping trip. If it isn't on the list, it can't be purchased (except for toilet paper, which is the one exception). If you're looking for something else, you will get by until the next trip. In addition, you will see an increase in your bank account
- Consider the ones that are time wasters and have no value when it comes to activities Which ones are important to you? Do they bring you joy? Do they bring you joy? Do they benefit you or the world around you? Why is this sport still in your life if the answer to any of these questions is no to any of these questions?
