The national tartan day's history has a rich tradition
The United States Senate passed Resolution 155 on March 20, 1998, naming April 6th of each year as National Tartan Day. The day honors Scottish Americans and their contributions to the United States and their contributions to the United States. On March 9, 2005, the House passed Resolution 41, and George W. Bush signed the Presidential Proclamation on April 4, 2008.
