National Teach Children To Save Day - Changes Annually

Every year in April, National Teach Children to Save Day encourages children to learn good saving habits..

Every year, bankers around the country volunteer to teach children how to save. Establishing these habits at a young age helps build a foundation for a lifetime of investing. Our children's involvement with a savings plan and money management skills prepare them for a fruitful future. Parents should educate their children about financial matters so that they can avoid financial difficulties that can be financially devastating if they go out into the world. With an early start on saving and an understanding of budgeting their money, children will have healthy habits as they enter adulthood.

The day provides tools and information at festivals around the country. The day provides tools and information.
