What is National Be Heard Day?
National Be Heard Day, the 7th day of March, encourages small businesses around the country to make their presence known each year. The day acknowledges that the over 145 million small businesses in the United States are struggling to be heard amid the big-business-dominated chaos.
Small businesses account for nearly 47% of the workforce in the United States. It's a daunting challenge to stand out amongst the crowd. Small businesses are also special in several ways. Not only do they provide cutting-edge services and products, but they also invest in small-town America and local communities in several ways.. When small business owners live, work, and play in our towns, their money stays and increase. Many of these companies manufacture custom solutions to specific problems that are not available to large companies. Not only that, but they also help our schools with funds, as mentors in the classroom, and as coaches on the field.
The day supports small businesses as they stand up and grab customer interest. Small businesses are gaining the attention of consumers. Small businesses are encouraged to stand out by innovative marketing, clever publicity strategies, a strong visual appearance, or other creative ways to advertise their presence. When small businesses thrive, so do our communities.
