What is National Dimples Day?

On National Dimples Day, we honor those who have an adorable natural indentation known as the dimple.

Dimples are often associated with cute babies and well-looking adults. Only 20-30 percent of the entire world population has dimples, with only 20-30 percent of the population. Although most people have two dimples, a select few people have only one when smiling.

Dimples are considered a genetic characteristic.. It's likely that another family member will have dimples if one person in a family has dimples, as well as another family member. We inherit dimples, according to some scientists. However, some scientists believe dimples are a random characteristic that people have. No one knows which genes cause dimples until more research is available. In fact, there is very little scientific evidence to back up a decision.
