What is National Food Day?
National Food Day, which takes place every year on October 24th, focuses on healthy and nutritious food.

One of the day's goals is to encourage people to "Eat Real." e.g. "Creating back on sugar drinks, overly salted packaged foods, and factory-farmed meats in favour of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and sustainably raised protein" is the focus of this series. As well as some of the country's most prominent food campaigners, the commemoration takes place. Their vision includes foods that can be nutritious, affordable, and sustainably grown. At the same time, the aim is to produce food that includes care for the climate, farm animals, and those who grow, harvest, and serve it with a sense of urgency.
The movement is seeking a balance between diet, affordability, and the environment. They strive to achieve these targets by consistently addressing policy. From community festivals to a national conference in Washington, D.C., to thousands of school activities, there were 3,200 events taking place in 2012.
