What is National Memo Day?

On May 21st each year, we celebrate National Memo Day. We'll give you a reminder just in case you forget.

A memo, short for memorandum, is a piece of information or other communication that is intended to notify a group of people about a particular topic. Memos are used in a company environment and can be used for a variety of purposes. A memo may be a note, email, or other record that may be stored for future use. It is published as a written message, particularly in company or diplomacy.

These missives have also earned a bad reputation for falling into the wrong hands, which has earned them a bad reputation. In the modern world, that means sharing endlessly on social media. Memos are usually best kept out of print when they contain proprietary company data, state secrets, or passionate views.

The observance aims to minimize the number of memos issued in the workplace. It also needs that memo writers keep their messages short and to the point.
