What is National New York Day?

Starting the week of Independence Day and ending with Hawaii, We began honoring each state in the order they entered the union in 2017. We feature a small portion of each states' past, foods, and the people who make up the state. Several states have their own state celebrations, andour observances in no way replace them.

National New York Day is on September 21st, marking the Empire State as we begin our tour of the states.
