National Oklahoma City Bombing Commemoration Day on April 19th honors those who were killed in the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995. The Oklahoma City bombing on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City was a domestic terrorist bombing. It was the most violent act of terrorism on American soil until the September 11, 2001 attacks.
