What is National Retro Day?

National Retro Day, February 27, takes us back to a time before smartphones and the internet.

Every generation looks back and asks, "Remember when?" Every generation looks back and asks, "Remember when?" While remaining in the present, this commemoration honors our admiration for the good ol' days.

Whatever the decade, choose a time when people talked more face to face than text to text, had dinner at home around the table, and the kids enjoyed games that didn't require internet access, regardless of the decade.

What is your retro? What is your retro? On National Retro Day, swoop the hair into a mile-high beehive or strut those eight-inch bell bottoms. For a stunning Afro, can you curl the curls for a stunning Afro? Try breaking out the old roller skates to see if you still have those mad skills. With a polka dot bandana and strike muscle pose like Rosie the Riveter, Tie the hair up with a polka dot bandana and strike muscle pose. Maybe you like a moonwalk, a leather jacket, and a single glove.

We spent more time on each other than we were together when we were together, with no smartphones, internet, or social media. Each moment is recorded in memory for us to look back in memory rather than for the entire world to see.
