What is National Roots Day?
On December 23rd, National Roots Day encourages families to investigate their family roots, heritage, and ancestry.
During the holidays, each year is a good time to gather family information. Although families gather around the table sharing tales and memories, someone is certain to be the family historian. A grandparent, parent, aunt, uncle, or uncle may have already started a family tree and will share it with other family members.
