What is National Solitaire Day?

Klondike is also known as Klondike, and the classic version of the game uses a 52 playing cards. In each suit, the object of the game is to clear the board by making a stack of cards from low to high. If the player completes each suit, the player wins Solitaire's game.

Solitaire in Windows 3.0 didn't exist until 1990, when Microsoft introduced Solitaire in Windows 3.0, the game truly went viral. Microsoft Solitaire's success in teaching computer users how to use a mouse and, in the process, made it one of the most popular video games in history.

"We're delighted to announce that May 22 of each calendar year will be designated as National Solitaire Day, honoring the day Microsoft first introduced Solitaire in Windows." says Paul Jensen, Studio Manager for Microsoft Casual Games.
