What is National Student-athlete Day?

On April 6th, the observance of student-athletes' outstanding performances (NSAD), which is celebrated annually on April 6th, gives the opportunity to honor student-athletes' outstanding achievements.

Nearly 8 million student-athletes compete in team and individual sports in the United States. More than 500,000 students will continue their education at the college level. Not only do they excel in athletic departments such as track and field, baseball, volleyball, and lacrosse, but academically, too. In addition, the day honors student-athletes who have a positive influence on their communities by retaining and receiving GPAs of 3.0 or higher.

Many student-athletes take on leadership in their local community and serve as role models for others. Others face adversity and produce exemplary examples of achievement. The initiative encourages families, schools, and communities to help their STUDENT-athletes succeed in their endeavors. Cheer them on both on and off the court and field.. They are supported in their higher aspirations and aspirations.
