What is National Thomas Jefferson Day?

On April 13th, Thomas Jefferson, the third President of The United States, was born on April 13, 1743, on April 13, 1743.

Jefferson was a stalwart of democracy, best known as the primary author of the Declaration of Independence. He was widely recognized as the primary author of the Declaration of Independence. Although not an orator, his pen cut a swath of ink from correspondence, papers, journals, and manuscripts, despite being not much of an orator.
