What is National Virginia Day?

Starting the week of Independence Day and ending with Hawaii. We feature a small portion of each states' past, foods, and the people who make up the state. Several states have their own state celebrations. There's so much more to explore that we can't help but celebrate our beautiful country even more.

In the west stretch of south and east, the west stretch of swamps and islands leads to swamps and islands. The people are just as diverse as the scenery, too. Unique and unforgettable experiences are created by the state's diverse history and topography, from the picturesque little towns of the Old Dominion state to bustling cities and cavernous valleys.

Virginia's closeness to Washington, D.C., makes it convenient for government commuters and tourism to the nation Capital. Many of our country's headquarters can be found in Virginia, including the Central Intelligence Agency, National Fish and Wild Life Service, and the Department of Defense.
