The United States Navy (USN) is the naval warfare service branch of the United States Armed Forces and one of the United States' seven uniformed services. With the world's most powerful navy and the most combined battle fleet tonnage, the US Navy now ranks as the world's largest and most robust navy, with the most tonnage. Over 340,000 troops on active service and over 71,000 in the Navy Reserve are among the service's more than 71,000 in the Navy Reserve.
