What is World Diabetes Day?

World Diabetes Day, on November 14th, raises concern and provides education about a disease that affects over 400 million adults worldwide.

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder that results in elevated blood sugar levels. Blindness, amputation, heart disease, and kidney disease are all common causes of blindness, amputation, heart disease, and kidney disease.
