On World Milk Day, real milk takes the spotlight, as always on June 1. The day is supposed to bring attention to issues relating to the dairy industry.
The annual observance is marked by events around the world: milking demonstrations and farm visits; games and tournaments; concerts; and export of milk products; and conferences, seminars, and information sharing.
The dairy industry supports more than a billion people's lives.
The dairy products industry is expected to grow by more than six billion people globally, making it a $413.8 billion industry.
