Ingredients:

Pinhead oatmeal is 14 cup pinhead oatmeal, with 14 cup being 14 cup.

¼ cup medium oatmeal

½ cup whole milk

1 cup water

Pinch of salt

Toast the oats until they smell fresh by heating a frying pan over medium-high heat and toasting them until they smell fragrant. Place the oats and the milk and water in a medium saucepan. Bring slowly to a boil. Stir often. Turn down the heat and simmer. Add the salt after five minutes. Simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring often until it is the right consistency.. Cover and wait for five minutes. Allow to sit for five minutes. Add any delectable toppings of your choice.

Make sure your porridge is not too hot before eating it. It's not too cold, but it's not too hot. It's just right!

World porridge day is the longest in the history of world porridge day

On October 10th, 2009, the first World Porridge Day was held. In Argyll, Scotland, the day was held as a way to raise funds for Mary's Meals. In developing countries, Mary's Meals sells food to starving children.

World Porridge Day is held in conjunction with the World Porridge Making Championship. The winner of the coveted "Golden Spurtle" trophy is named. The best traditional porridge, which is made of oatmeal, water, and salt, has been given prizes. A prize for the best specialty porridge is also given. In Carrbridge, Scotland, the competition is being held.
